Angela O'Meara — Associate
Angela O’Meara was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in 1998 after completing a law degree at Victoria University in 1997, and then working for a year with a legal publisher in Wellington.
Angela joined our team in August 2008 as an associate, coming from another NZ Law Group firm in the Bay of Plenty.
Angela has joined our team with 10 years of experience in the litigation and the business and property areas. Angela practices primarily within our business and property team, and has a broad range of commercial experience ranging from contract law, securities act requirements, credit contracts and consumer finance issues, employment law and trusts, to relationship property agreements. Angela also assists John Stevens with aspects of his Maori land and business organisations practice.

When you're not a lawyer?
My husband Ben and I have two young daughters. When we’re not busy with family or friends, I spend most of my time working on renovations to the family home.

I love the ‘can do’ attitude of people who live here - making the most of our facilities and activities, despite the weather!
