About Ian

Ian was admitted as Solicitor in 1960 and as a Barrister and Solicitor in 1961. Ian was a foundation partner in the firm, following establishment of his own firm in 1978.

Based in our Business & Property team, Ian continues to be primarily involved working with clients on trust and estate matters and also property law issues. Ian manages the firms nominee company, working with many clients to achieve positive outcomes.

In earlier years Ian was mayor and deputy mayor of Wellington and Regional Councillor. He was also Chair of the Local Government Superannuation Trustee Company; and Chair of Local Government Insurance Corporation.
