Lisa McKeown Associate
Lisa McKeown is an associate in our litigation and dispute resolution team with a number of years’ experience in medical and personal injury law, civil litigation and commercial litigation.
Lisa has an interest in privacy law, particularly in the health areas. She also handles agency instructions for other civil litigation in the High Court and District Court, including insolvency and debt recovery proceedings, and summary judgment applications.

Favourite NZ destination?
I recently spent a week exploring Great Barrier Island - fantastic beaches, walks, hot springs, kayaking, and what seemed like endless sun!
Satisfying achievements?
I did my first bungy jump last year - and loved it!
What have you learned from JL?
Not all lawyers are ruthless, money-hungry folk who communicate only using legal jargon. The lawyers at JL care about their clients, give straight answers, and are willing to go the extra mile.
Hurricanes to win this year?
As long as they beat the Crusaders, I’ll be happy (because then we won’t have to hear our practice manager gloating...)
