A typical day?
The alarm goes off at 5.25am…it starts with an early morning swim squad at Kilbirnie Pool, followed by the first (of many) coffees for the day, then an early start in the office to clear emails and correspondence and get started! If possible I also like to get out for a run around the bays at lunch, then it is straight back into work.
Favourite Destination in NZ?
I’m a born and bred Wellingtonian, so aside from the obvious answer (Wellington!), my favourite destination is Taupo. A large part of my spare time is spent training and competing in triathlons, and Taupo is the home of triathlon in New Zealand.
Most satisfying achievement as a lawyer?
The varied nature of my workload makes it hard to choose just one achievement. I am involved in a variety of matters and I get a real sense of achievement by helping clients organise their affairs and achieve their goals.
Recent Experience & Results
I am a New Zealand Representative Age Group Triathlete. I have medalled at distances from Sprint to Half Ironman. I’m now busy training for my first Ironman in Taupo in March 2011. I’m also a Wellington Representative Runner, and the Senior Women’s A Team Captain at the Wellington Scottish Harriers Club. I organise our A team for Local and National Relays.
