When you're not a lawyer?
In descending order of expertise, I enjoy playing chess (which I only manage occasionally these days), good literature, listening to classical music and cooking. I put cooking last because I get a lot of fun doing it, but I’m not sure whether the fun is shared by those who have to eat it...
Most frustrating thing about being a lawyer?
Dealing with (some) other lawyers. But frustration is part and parcel of lawyering, so I guess I shouldn’t complain too much.
A typical day?
Haven’t had one yet - they’re all so different. That’s part of what makes my working life so interesting.
