Sarah Hosegood — Law Clerk
Sarah joined Johnston Lawrence as a law clerk in 2008 and is based in our Litigation & Dispute Resolution team assisting with work on historic abuse claims.
Sarah is currently working towards her law degree at Victoria University, at present in her 4th year and studying toward a BA in criminology.

Favorite Destination in NZ?
The South Island for sure, anywhere where there is a good view and some snow or mountains to climb/tramp, that’s where I want to be!
Why a lawyer?
Law because it's challenging and different to other degrees; lawyer because of the hope to be able to help other people and to have an understanding of the issues that dictate people’s lives.
Why JL?
I like working at JL because we get great big morning teas on Fridays - no seriously it’s because it's wicked to be surrounded by a group of people who are interested in my studies and university life and who encourage/support me in trying new things in the work environment.
