Susan was a partner at Gilbert Swan and became a consultant to Johnston Lawrence when Gilbert Swan merged with Johnston Lawrence in 2007.
Her legal career spans some 29 years. Susan has a general legal background with a lot of experience in land, property, trusts and estates. Since 1992, she has done a considerable amount of litigation in the District Court, Family Court and High Court and is now based in our litigation and dispute resolution team.
Susan still does conveyancing and estate work as well, including foreign probate matters.

Why JL?
I like working at JL because it is a firm large enough to have proper resources, especially computer resources but small enough to retain a sense of personal interest and interaction with clients.
